February 21, 2006 (Aspen, Colo.) - The 78th Annual Academy Award^® nominations are out, and Aspen's red carpet will soon roll out too! The Ritz- Carlton Club, ASPEN PEAK Magazine and Aspen Filmfest are hosting a glamorous Oscar Awards Party the evening of March 5th at The Ritz-Carlton Club's Willow Creek Bistro. Gather with friends and fellow movie lovers for the best seats Aspen has to offer. Catch all of the Oscar action and enjoy a live telecast of the Awards ceremony, a sumptuous cocktail dinner prepared by renowned Executive Chef Matthew Zubrod, special "Oscar Martinis" and other party festivities including a live auction with items provided by The Ritz-Carlton Club and Land Rover.

This season's hottest ticket, Aspen's Oscar Awards Party starts at 6:00pm, with all the glitter, lights, and red carpet revelry at 5:30pm. Proceeds from the $200 per person event support Aspen Filmfest's year-round education programs for youth and adults.
